What to do in Tarifa with wind

For many, the wind in Tarifa can be a problem, but we have the best solution so that your holidays are not messed up.

BEACH

Whoever says that you can't go to the beach with wind, doesn't know RATE!
A good option is to go to the Small Beach: a beautiful cove barely 400 meters long located between the port and the Isla de Tarifa.

One of its main characteristics is its crystal clear water that allows you to practice activities such as diving or snorkeling, in addition to its great views of Morocco.

Ideal for days when the wind blows from the west, since the cove is quite protected.

Another option is the Caleta Beach located to the east of the Port of Tarifa. A pebble and extremely rocky beach, which often becomes a neighborhood meeting place.

A cozy beach that is face to face with Africa, one of the most beautiful points for those looking for a viewpoint towards Morocco. Ideal for days when the easterly wind blows and only 5 minutes from the old town of Tarifa.

SPORT

For the more adventurous, Tarifa is the ideal place for sports and adventure lovers. One of the most famous are windsurfing and kitesurfing.

In addition, Tarifa has several diving schools where diving courses are taught or equipment is rented for the dives.

And for those looking for adventures out of the water, Tarifa has the Monte de Betis, a mountain that separates Tarifa from Bolonia.

It has more than 200 already marked routes, of different and varied levels to practice climbing.

GASTRONOMY

And if there is something that can make you fall in love with Tarifa and can be done in all weather conditions, it is its diversity and its quality in gastronomy.

From the red tuna obtained by our large almadraba, to a good Retinto meat.

Not to mention the great variety and culinary styles that take you to other lands without leaving the table. (Moroccan, Japanese, Italian, etc.)

You cannot leave without a fee without having food in La Casona or without having had a great breakfast in the wonderful Blue coffee
