Pigeon Island – TARIFA
Isla de las Palomas, currently connected to land by a road, represents the southernmost point of the Iberian Peninsula and continental Europe.
The Island is the division between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.
This Island is famous for its long history and for all the secrets it hides.
It was for many years a military enclave, a headquarters of the Army.
They have never allowed entry, since, due to its peculiar ecological values, the Strait of Gibraltar Natural Park meant the protection of the island.
As we have commented in previous posts on our blog, it is one of the most famous places in Spain for diving thanks to the variety of corals and animal species.
Currently, you can visit the Isa if you call and sign up in advance.
The phone to book: 652 046 257 or by sending an email to email@example.com
