VII TUNA ROUTE

One of the most anticipated events in Tarifa arrives.

From May 24 to June 2 starts the VII Tuna Route in Tarifa,
in which you can taste one of the best delicacies where tuna is the protagonist

This route started in 2013 with 29 bars on the first route.

Currently, more than 40 bars and restaurants compete to win the prize for the best tapa in all of Tarifa.

In addition, during all these days, you can see how our sailors work in the trap.

The almadraba is a technique for catching tuna that consists of installing a maze of nets in the path of the tuna.

The word almadraba comes from Arabic and means "place where you hit or fight". (You can find more information about this technique in our post: The Almadraba of Tarifa)

A few days before the event, you can find in our Facebook all the programming of the activities that will be carried out during those days.
